Aparna Module and required fields

This may be something at my end but would love if someone else could test it for me. I have created a twitter widget module using Aparna. Not sure with normal modules as I haven't tested any others yet If I add a custom field to the create and update forms and set them to required they work fine. ie throw an error if they are empty If I try to update that form and delete a required fields contents and click update it throws the error which is correct But if I hit cancel with that field...

Foxycart Ecommerce and Merchandise Store

Good day, After installed this 2 modules, I made some tests. Its working fine with foxycart. Therefore the purchased items and transactions arent appearing on seller profile (Payment and products menu). Also the "my items menu" (buyer) is empty. Any sugestion ? Thanks Paulo

Tinymce upimg Images and validation

Images uploaded using the editor need some way of specifying Alt text for each image, or at least using the image name as Alt text. All images added using tinymce give these using the w3 validator: Quote: error An “img” element must have an “alt” attribute, except under certain conditions. jrStore - css and js files missing

The current jrStore (1.0.2) uses css and js from jrFoxycart/contrib/ but the /contrib dir hasn't existed in the past 3 releases of jrFoxycart (last appeared in 1.2.0, via marketplace). delete and create import oddness

i decided to do a fresh import but when u do delete and create you only see 00:49:23 Importing selected Ning items nothing more but if u watch the dashboard the number of profiles goes up and up but if u refresh the import page it only gives the create members option as if the database is enmpty or no profiles were created corection it did create 4202 this time without showing any were created but stopped going up there so i refreshed and all options were there so i just continued the...

Blocked IP addresses and Forum Question

I have a question about migrating Ning to Jam, what happens to the blocked IP addresses? do they remain blocked or does that feature become invalid? There are a lot of spammers whose IP addresses I blocked and I would love for them not to able to sign up for my site anymore. Second question, do the forums on Jam allow for images to be uploaded and special text? or is it all HTML?

A ul list of urls are not converted to links unless a space is added before the url. Oneall and custom signup forms

I have a few questions about using the oneall module with custom signup forms I have custom signup forms for some quotas that require additional information. I assume for those quotas, I cannot use oneall signup as it would not collect enough information. How would I let someone sign up as a member with social login and then collect additinal information later in order to move them to another quota? If I don't use the social login, can I still allow users to manage their social accounts,...

Hey all, I can't seem to figure out how to make comments and the forums display the newest post first. My community is complaining they have to go to the last page to view the latest update. Too many clicks... I looked in both Forums and Comments and didn't see an option. Is this set in the skin? Clear skies, John
